All Lions
by Ill Intent
Independent Release
Hailing from Seattle, WA, Ill Intent plays New York hardcore by way of the Northwest; combining elements from the likes of Biohazard, Cro-Mags, and No Warning with a mentality & delivery all their own. Their debut full-length, All Lions, is 12 tracks of bouncey, crushing, and shredding hardcore fury. What immediately sticks out with Ill Intent, is just how tight they are - both on recording & in person - and it shines through with the material. Tracks like Defamation Nation, White On White, Flatlining, and the Matthew Effect are prime examples of a band at the top of their game; working as one cohesive unit with a punishing and unforgiving output. All Lions may have some heavy nods toward plenty of 90's metallic and crossover hardcore bands, but Ill Intent sifts out the corny & muddled bullshit weighing them down. Say what you want and call me blind, I'll fucking see you tomorrow.
